South Bangalore is famous for its numerous cafes’ and darshinis that offer simple, tasty and affordable South Indian fare. While joints like the Brahmins’ Coffee Bar have been around forever, new ones offering Chinese delicacies have made inroads. Street vendors peddling bhel and pani puri in push carts also do brisk business with chat lovers. Food street in V V Puram offers a variety of gastronomic delights, with its corn masalas. bath masalas and benne gulkands.
