Nandi Hills, 60 kilometres from Bangalore, is a favourite and convenient picnic spot. It is easily accessible by two roads, one by the NH7 [Bellary Road] and the other via Doddaballapur road. Tickets can be bought to either drive or walk to the summit. The hill is a source for many rivers. Some of the places that one must see are the Cubbon House (Nehru Nilaya) and its garden, Yoganandeeshwara temple, Tipu’s Drop and a breathtaking sunset.
