Meet Harini Nagendra, a young city-based ecologist who can answer your questions on Bangalore’s disappearing tree cover and its implications.
Ecologist and scientist Harini Nagendra has been researching Bangalore’s trees since 2006, and her study on street trees is almost ready. She hopes the data will be used by city planners and green activists for various issues including that of tree felling for road widening.
