We the residents of Dhanush Paradise Residents' Association, 10th Cross, 5th Main, Vijaya Bank Colony, Bilekahalli, had sought to apply for name transfer of electricity meters from the Builder's name to our individual names (15 of us). For this we had purchased the forms, filled them out and requested the AE - BESCOM, Bannerghatta to come for meter inspection. After 2 weeks of waiting he came and later demanded Rs. 1,000/- for his services. Paid him the same as we had no other choice to move our files. We then paid the filing fee (Rs. 100/- each) and approached the AO at BESCOM, JP Nagar for necessary update and issuance of acknowledgement letters for name change. He asked us to come on Wed of the following week. We went the Monday after that. Files are sitting on the AO's desk after necessary entries in the system. But the AO says he has to check before signing and asked us to come after yet another week. In the process we have made several visits to get our work done. Process delayed for almost a month !!!
