Several NGO's/CBO's in Bangalore (including CHC, Janarogya Andolana Karnataka, AID and Headstreams) with experience in providing disaster relief and rehabilitation have come forward to coordinate some of the essential needs of the flood-affected people in North Karnataka. They urge everyone to join them in reaching food, medicine and other materials to the affected people. The immediate objective is to give the affected families materials to survive at least for a month after the disaster.
