The bulldozers have arrived to finish off the beautiful boulevard that Dr Ambedkar Veedhi is. This was, to Bangaloreans, the iconic avenue of the city, with two venerable old ladies facing each other: Neeti, the High Court, on one side, and Dharma, the Vidhana Soudha, on the other. Now this boulevard is being dug up and trees axed for the Metro. We thought we'd document it so that our children know what they've lost....
